About the Practice
Yoga is a physical practice that connects movement and breath. Practicing yoga while pregnant can help you prepare for childbirth by training your nervous system and muscle memory to incorporate tangible tools like birthing postures, breathing and visualization techniques that will help you cope with pain and progress labor.
This class is a physical and mental workout that will build confidence and stamina you can carry into labor, delivery, and parenthood.
Private Prental Yoga
$50 per session
I have been teaching yoga for over a decade. As a registered nurse with a background in massage therapy, I have an extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology which I bring to my instruction.
Prenatal yoga combines two of my passions as a healer: my work as a doula - helping mothers prepare for the direct experience of birth - and my nursing expertise - helping patients cope with pain using alternative techniques.
In addition to my personal teaching experience, I have co-written and lead a prenatal yoga curriculum in a hospital setting.
